• Provide, operate, and maintain the Signal Engine platform

• Send account alerts, buy signal notifications, and platform updates

Signal Engine may send SMS messages to users who have explicitly opted in to receive them. By providing your phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box during registration or within your account settings, you consent to receive text messages from Signal Engine including:

• Account activity alerts and buy signal notifications
• Trial expiration reminders and subscription billing notices
• Security alerts and important account updates

We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors including Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), SendGrid (email), and Anthropic, PBC (AI processing) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements. When you use AI-powered features, your input data is transmitted to Anthropic's API for processing in accordance with Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not send personally identifiable information to Anthropic unless you include it in your prompts.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
• With Your Consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage via Supabase, and access controls limiting who can access your data.
